Wild Khaudum
We left the coast line and made our way over to the north eastern wilderness area of Bushman land. After 900 km we finally reached Tsumkwe and meet our clients for our 7 days safari through the Khaudum with its thick sand baths “wildest and most rural park in Namibia” ending at Mahango National Park “Caprivi Strip”. We visited the Dorsland Boabab tree, absolutely magnificent. Hidden from sight off the road en route to the south gate at Khaudum. We spend a total of three nights in the park self, exploring all its wildlife it had to offer, 180+ Elephants playing at the water hols, Roan’s, Red Hartebeest, Tsessebe, Greater Kudu, Oryx, Steenbok, Giraffes, Zebras, Side Striped Jackal and the African Wild Cat. Oh and don’t forget about the bird life out there. This park opened up a whole new word for us regarding the birdies found out there. The Caprivi findings was also unforgettable…. Sable, Buffalo’s, Reedbuck, Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Impalas, Crocodile’s more Elephants & Birds. The sunset’s and sunrises with the animal sounds in the background was paradise.
