Let’s take you to a unique place where the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean on a guided 4×4 adventure to Sandwich Harbour. Join us on a half day tour either in the morning or afternoon for a fun exploration deep in the Namib Sand Sea to discover Sandwich Harbour and its surroundings. This tour covers, a visit to view some pink flamingos, pelicans and other sea birds, Salt Mine the largest solar evaporation plant in Africa with its pink salt pans/lakes, fun beach driving till we reach Sandwich Harbour. If tidal permits a narrow drive between the HUGE dunes and ocean till we reach the Sandwich Bay, otherwise we cross over the dunes to admire the magnificent dune and ocean comes together landscape from the many view point available. With a natural desert backdrop you can enjoy a refreshing picnic lunch and absorb the beauty you’re surrounded with, then hit the dunes for some adrenaline driving before concluding your adventure to the Kuiseb River Delta, a dry riverbed where you can occasionally see springbok, oryx, or even ostrich.

Let’s set sail on a morning cruise in the harbour of Walvis Bay follow by an adventure afternoon through the sand sea landscape of Sandwich Harbour. Start your day on a relay boat cruise exploring the Walvis Bay marine life and various stops like the oyster farms and Pelican Point with seals and pelicans joining you on board. Enjoying a light brunch, oysters, and sparkling wine. Return back to your meeting point and hop on a 4×4 vehicle with your guide which will take you directly to Sandwich Harbour where you can admire the magnificent stretch of dune landscapes meeting the endless Atlantic Ocean. A light lunch with sparkling wine will be enjoyed on top of the many dunes before heading back to Walvis Bay.

Enjoy an adventures filled day with kayaking in the morning amongst thousands of cape fur seals, before venturing to the oldest desert in a 4×4. Experience an early morning paddle with some playful seals and if luck permits dolphins & whales at the tip of Pelican Point Peninsula. The tour starts from Walvis Bay following a one hour scenic drive in a 4×4 vehicle along the Walvis Bay Lagoon with its countless flamingos and pelicans and the larges salt mines with its pink water on your way to Pelican Point. Arriving at Pelican Point you will be greeted by thousands of seals who will join you in in a few minutes after you are briefed and stable seated on a double kayak ready to paddle. After Kayaking, we recharge with some fresh rolls and hot beverages. From there, you will venture across Pelican Point and Donkey Bay on your way to the magnificent Sandwich Harbour, where an endless landscape of rolling dunes awaits. A light lunch with sparkling wine will be enjoyed on top of the many dunes before heading back to Walvis Bay, where your tour will conclude.
